The Graphic Design Pathway at the Sioux City Career Academy provides students like Erin Collins with the problem-solving skills to create visual communication. See how Erin combines her creativity with the use of specialized software to tailor her knack for photography.

“These engineering classes here in the Career Academy are very important to me I think because without this I really wouldn’t know what I was getting myself into.”

The Engineering Pathway at the Sioux City Career Academy has provided Eddie Voloshen with the opportunity to learn about 3-D modeling and coding. Courses such as civil engineering and architecture are offered as part of the Engineering Pathway to better prepare students for real-world jobs in the future.

“It’s actually a nice break to come here and experience something new and interact with the other kids from other schools because that’s something I’ve never done before.”
